TD76-344-688 /Floor Deck /Profiled Sheet /Metal Decking
☑ Metal Decking
Floor deck is the rolled and cold-formed galvanized/color coating steel sheet, mainly used as permanent form, which can enhance rigidity of floor slabs, save the quantity of reinforcement and concrete required. With high strength bearing capacity, the floor deck panel can meet fast construction requirements of main steel structures.

  • Strong Friction And Shear Performance

The closed-type floor decking sheet uses special closed rib design and its vertical shear performance is good. Under the limitation allowance of the truss floor deck's design loads, steel deck and concrete don't slip off each other.

  • Perfect Fire-Resistant Performance

Rib is completely encased in concrete, similar to reinforcing steel bars in the concrete slab which is site pouring. The closed-type composite slab can completely substitute the sagging moment reinforcing steel bars for pulling in the floor and can be up to 1.5 hours of fire resistance without any fire-retardant coating.

Smart Application

Besides its application in composite floors in multi-storey buildings and commercial establishments, it is extensively used for Mezzanine applications. Corrosion resistant coating makes it the best solution for typical applications like parking sheds, where our structural decking system provides better appearance to exposed ceilings.

Material Specifi cations

Our deck panel is manufactured from hot dipped zinc coated high strength steel with minimum 550 MPa yield strength and coating mass of Z275(min 275g/m2 total of zinc coating on both sides). The available thickness ranges from 0.70 mm to 1.2mm BMT(Base Metal Thickness). The steel conforms to AS1397 and BS EN 10147:2000.

Tested to Extreme Conditions

Deck panels have been subjected to rigorous tests such as slip block test, formwork tests including shear and bearing, full scale slab test, composite slab cycle test, fire rating test, formwork-air pressure test, formwork-four point load test and concentrated load test. These tests are carried out in the labs to ensure maximum performance and quality of our decking profiles. (Ref. figure 2.1 to 2.4)

Quality Assurance

Our steel sheets comply with major China standards and design standards adopted across Asia. Manufactured using high tensile steel, it is optimally configured and uses advanced design and construction method.

Usage method

  • The floor deck is laid and connected with the steel beam, and the end of the plate is welded with the steel beam through spot welding, and the middle is welded with the steel beam through fusion welding: When the beam distance is greater than 1.5m, the side joint of the steel bearing plate and the steel plate shall be fixed at the distance of 90 cm across (the minimum value), which is welded or self-tapping screws.

  • In the cutting work of steel bearing plates at construction sites, all bevel edges, cutting angles, extra-long holes, etc., should use electric ion cutters to avoid damaging the surface coating treatment of steel plates. If oxygen acetylene is used for cutting, zinc powder anti-rust paint should be applied to the cutting edge to avoid corrosion.

  • Fire blanket should be prepared at the cutting site to avoid sparks and slag caused by fire, and fire extinguishers should be provided at the scene for emergency needs.
